  • How will my scanned images be returned to me?

Magnum has a variety of options ranging from converting documents into Tiff or PDF images to importing your images into our software package and providing these images by CD, DVD or online.

  • What are the benefits of scanning my documents?

The main benefit of having your documents available electronically is the speed of access to your records. Whether this is working directly from CD’s, images uploaded onto your servers or Magnum hosting your documents online, the ability to view, print, email or export your electronic images instantly could potentially save you hours. With either long term retentions of documents or a need to have your documents electronic for ease of access an additional benefit is the physical reduction of storage space needed for your documents within your premises. Magnum can arrange weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual collections and agree timescales for the conversion of your records thus reducing the time spent by your own staff managing and archiving your documentation.

  • What happens to my original documents once scanned?

Ultimately you have 3 options:

1) We can arrange the confidential shredding of your documents following a grace period for you to conduct your own quality checks (standard 3 weeks)

2) We can place your original documents into our secure hard copy document storage data centre

3) We can return your documents to you for you to store on your own premises

  • Do I have to scan all my documents?

No. Certain documents, either due to record type, a minimal access requirement or retention policy will not warrant scanning. Magnum’s experts will evaluate your complete Document Management requirement and then will consult and advise you on the best possible solution to meet you individual needs and requirements.

  • How will I determine if scanning is right for my company?

To aid and assist you in the decision process Magnum experts will advise you in regards to how other companies have successfully resolved their issues by utilising Magnum’s scanning service. Magnum can also provide a “free of charge test” using your own documentation, enabling you to view your documents in digital form prior to any commencement of work. This test would also form the basis of any proposal and by using your documents will give an accurate cost scenario.
