Collection

Our vehicles are fully equipped with lifting and carrying equipment namely trolleys, stair climbers and unitainers. We also have a selection of specialist equipment which can be utilised for the more unconventional collections; an example of this is a fully motorised extendable mobile conveyor which can greatly assist when removing boxes from tight locations i.e. basements.

All Magnum drivers will be in full corporate work wear and have photo id badges on their person at all times. The driver will receipt all collections in the form of a transmittal note, this records the following details:

  • Unique transmittal note number (this becomes the job number upon arrival at Magnum)
  • Client
  • Department
  • Date
  • Collected by
  • New/ return material
  • Volume of files/boxes collected
  • Flatpacks supplied
  • Any special instructions

The transmittal note requires signing by both parties, the original copy will remain with the end user, Magnum will retain a duplicate copy which is scanned into our system upon arrival.

The accuracy and efficiency of the initial transfer of records is vital to the future quality of service. Magnum is highly experienced in the bulk movement and cataloguing of records and will assign responsibility to the Operations Manager who will ensure this phase is managed in a highly controlled and professional manner.
