Magnum passes ISO 14001 - Environmental

Magnum Services are pleased to announce, ISO14001- Environmental has been achieved.

Following a 6-month implementation programme Magnum have achieved registration to the ISO14001 environmental standard.

However the company's environmental ambitions reach far beyond just meeting the standard as our Environmental Officer Kym Blee explains;

'We are delighted to have achieved ISO14001 but to really make a difference we know we have to go further. Right from the start of the process we made a conscious decision to introduce measures that would not only help us achieve ISO14001 registration but that would put the company at the forefront of sustainability.’

Magnum Services is committed to reducing energy consumption, waste and any detrimental impact on the environment by investing in new products and services for the reduction, recycling and monitoring of energy consumption, waste and consumables.

Magnum Services are prioritising environmental sustainability.We undertake the most environmentally efficient routes through the scheduling of vehicle runs and when purchasing new vehicles we give great consideration to the environmental impact.We are dedicated to preserving natural resources, we review our consumables; buying items made from recycled materials wherever appropriate.

 All of our waste paper and confidential destructions are 100% recycled; we encourage all members of staff to recycle/reuse where ever possible and are committed to actively reducing the amount of waste we produce.

Items such as printer/toner cartridges, used uniform and WEEE are recycled, reused or donated to local charities and we ensure all electronic data is confidentially destroyed.
